Fire Safety Training and Practical Drill Conducted at CÜNAM! 🚒

On October 15, 2026, CÜNAM organized a fire safety training session and practical fire drill as part of its occupational health and safety activities.

The theoretical training was delivered by Lecturer Kemal Demetçiçek, Head of the Cumhuriyet Search and Rescue Unit (CAK) at Sivas Cumhuriyet University. The session covered fire safety, emergency preparedness, and appropriate response procedures in the event of a fire. Following the training, a practical fire drill was conducted in the outdoor area of CÜNAM to reinforce the knowledge gained.

At CÜNAM, we are committed to promoting a strong safety culture, enhancing personnel awareness of emergency situations, and continuously improving occupational health and safety practices across our research infrastructure.

We sincerely thank Lecturer Kemal Demetçiçek and the Cumhuriyet Search and Rescue Unit for their valuable contributions to the training and drill.
