The 2247-C Intern Researcher Scholarship Program (STAR), carried out by TÜBİTAK, has been reopened for applications under the 2025 First Term Call. This program aims to encourage undergraduate students and teachers to actively participate in scientific research projects and enhance their research skills.

Within the scope of the program, scholarship applications will also be accepted for the project titled “Quantum Cascade Lasers, Devices and Applications (KUANTAY)” with the project number 22AG074, carried out by CÜNAM. In line with this call, project supervisors may request scholarship holders in two categories: undergraduate students and teachers.

The application process will take place in three stages. In the first stage, project supervisors will submit their requests for scholarship holders. This stage will begin on April 30, 2025, and continue until 5:30 PM on May 9, 2025. In the second stage, undergraduate students and teachers can apply to take part in the projects between May 23, 2025, and June 13, 2025. Candidates may apply to only one project listed at https://star.tubitak.gov.tr.

In the third stage, project supervisors will evaluate the applicants based on the project’s needs and the defined qualifications. This evaluation will take place between June 27, 2025, and July 11, 2025. The process will be carried out based on the information and documents uploaded to the application system, and communication may be established via face-to-face or online meetings, as well as through email or postal services when necessary.
