As Sivas Cumhuriyet University Nanophotonics Application and Research Center (CÜNAM), we took part in an important event that will help shape the future of our country in the field of energy storage and battery technologies. On September 10, 2025, CÜNAM researcher Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ozan Öztürk attended the “Battery Technologies Focused Technology Network (OTAĞ) Launch” organized by the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB).

This event stands out as a significant step towards evaluating Turkey’s current status in battery and sub-component technologies, creating a roadmap for the future, and strengthening cross-sectoral collaboration. Through participation in the launch, valuable insights were gained on the current state of battery technologies and energy storage systems, as well as the work required for future advancements.

By taking part in such organizations, CÜNAM not only keeps track of developments in the defense industry but also continues to contribute to the advancement of our country’s energy technologies with its own research projects.
