Sivas Cumhuriyet University Nanophotonics Application and Research Center (CÜNAM) hosted the 4th term meeting of the “Quantum Cascade Lasers, Devices and Applications (KUANTAY)” project, conducted under TÜBİTAK’s 1004 – Center of Excellence Support Program.

The meeting, held at CÜNAM, was attended by the project coordinator, the İzmir Institute of Technology Quantum Technologies Application and Research Center (KUANTAM), along with project partners including ASELSAN, ASELSAN Hassas Optik, Atatürk University, Dokuz Eylül University, Karadeniz Technical University, TEKNOMA, and ELEKTRAL representatives. Discussions focused on the current status, technical advancements, and future work plans of the KUANTAY project, which aims to achieve domestic and national production of Quantum Cascade Lasers (QCLs).

Following the meeting, our Center’s Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlkay Demir, provided information about the laboratories, technical infrastructure, and ongoing projects at the center.
