Within the scope of this project, we are seeking a "Technology Transfer Professional (TTP)" to work continuously and full-time for 24 months. The TTP is expected to holistically execute the following processes within the framework of TÜBİTAK 1601 Program requirements and the CÜNAM Job Description:
Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights (IPR) Management & Licensing
Tracking CÜNAM’s patent, utility model, and design portfolio; evaluating invention disclosures and coordinating registration processes with patent attorneys.
Preparing legal and administrative drafts of licensing and technology transfer agreements (MTA, NDA, License Agreements, etc.) in coordination with CÜNAM legal advisors, and managing negotiations.
Organizing training sessions and workshops for researchers on IPR, patent writing, commercialization, and licensing processes.
Evaluating analysis, testing, and R&D requests from industry and external institutions with technical units, managing quotation processes end-to-end, and converting recurring services into sustainable business models.
Organizing technical visits, promotional days, and B2B meetings to showcase CÜNAM’s technological infrastructure and service capacity.
Identifying technologies with entrepreneurial potential and supporting academic spin-off/start-up formations and business models.
Project Management, Grant Tracking & Procurement Coordination
Tracking TÜBİTAK, KOSGEB, Horizon Europe, SSB, and other national/international funding programs to guide researchers, and preparing the administrative/financial sections of application files.
Tracking the interim and final reporting processes of active projects from administrative and financial perspectives, ensuring their timely submission to funding agencies.
Contributing to the administrative aspect of technical specifications for machinery, equipment, and service procurements; transforming purchasing processes into strategic collaboration opportunities with suppliers rather than routine procurement.
Data Management, KPI Tracking, and Corporate Representation
Monitoring CÜNAM’s collaboration, project, and commercialization key performance indicators (KPIs), and preparing monthly/annual activity reports.
Providing data and ensuring data integrity for national/international performance indexes in which the Center is ranked (e.g., Entrepreneurial and Innovative University Index).
Representing CÜNAM before external stakeholders and maintaining up-to-date promotional materials (catalogs, brochures, web, and digital content).
Qualifications
Education Requirements
Holding at least a Bachelor’s degree from one of the following university faculties/disciplines:
Engineering Faculties
Basic Sciences and Mathematics
Health Sciences
Social Sciences, Humanities, and Administrative Sciences / Law
Preferred Education: Holding a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in the above fields or interdisciplinary programs (Science and Technology Policy Studies, Technology Management, Engineering Management, Intellectual Property Rights Management, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management, etc.).
Work Experience and Regulatory Knowledge
Having a minimum of 3 years of verifiable work experience in technology management, project management, business development, or commercialization within R&D/Design Centers (Law No. 5746), Research Infrastructures (Law No. 6550), TTOs, TGB Managing Companies, or non-governmental organizations.
Having knowledge/experience in Law No. 6550, Industrial Property Code No. 6769, implementation principles of TÜBİTAK and EU funding programs, public procurement, and project budget management processes.

Advanced Device Development: To actively participate in research activities aimed at developing III-V semiconductor-based single-photon avalanche diodes (SPAD), photodetectors, and advanced photonic/optoelectronic device technologies within national and international R&D projects carried out at CÜNAM.
SPAD Lifecycle Contribution: To contribute to the design, simulation, epitaxial structure development, fabrication, characterization, and performance optimization processes of single-photon avalanche diodes.

Technical and Scientific Competencies

Knowledge of the working principles, device physics, and performance parameters of single-photon avalanche diode (SPAD) and advanced photodetector technologies. Experience in electrical and optical characterization processes of SPAD devices, data analysis, and evaluation of mechanisms limiting device performance.
Knowledge of III-V semiconductor-based single-photon avalanche diode device design, band structure engineering, carrier dynamics, and optoelectronic properties. Experience in conducting electric field distribution, avalanche breakdown, carrier transport, and device performance analyses for SPAD using TCAD (Silvaco Atlas, Synopsys Sentaurus, etc.), COMSOL Multiphysics, or similar semiconductor device simulation software.
Hands-on experience in semiconductor structure development, growth optimization, and material characterization studies using MOCVD/MOVPE targeted at Single-Photon Avalanche Diode and advanced photodetector structures.
