CÜNAM Director Prof. Dr. İlkay Demir is participating in the International Study Visit organized in collaboration with TÜBİTAK and the Netherlands Innovation Network Türkiye, meeting with leading institutions in the Netherlands in the fields of semiconductors, photonics, MEMS, and advanced manufacturing technologies.

During the visits to the Saxion University Applied Nanotechnology Group, ChipTech Twente, and the University of Twente MESA+ Institute, the delegation examined research activities on nanomaterials, chip integration, and nanoscale technologies while observing successful models of academia–industry collaboration.

The program further included meetings with the Chip Integration Technology Center (CITC), Noviotech Campus, Radboud University, and the OnePlanet Research Center, where opportunities for joint R&D, innovation ecosystem development, and technology cooperation were discussed.

As part of the visit, the delegation also took part in the “Bridging Research and Application: Türkiye’s Innovation Ecosystem in Semiconductors, MEMS, and Sensing” session at MicroNanoConference 2025, presenting Türkiye’s growing capabilities in semiconductor technologies, sensing systems, and photonics to international stakeholders.

CÜNAM believes that this visit will pave the way for new high-technology collaborations between Türkiye and the Netherlands.
