Prof. Dr. İlkay Demir, Director of the Nanophotonics Application and Research Center (CÜNAM) at Sivas Cumhuriyet University, participated as an invited attendee in the CAS–TÜBİTAK Joint Quantum Technologies Symposium, held between November 1–6, 2025, and hosted by the Chinese Academy of Sciences – Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (CAS–SIOM).

During the symposium, Prof. Dr. İlkay Demir presented ongoing research on single-photon sources and single-photon detectors, and held productive meetings with CAS–SIOM officials regarding potential future research areas and collaborative project opportunities.

At CÜNAM, we believe that such international events play a crucial role in enhancing scientific knowledge exchange and strengthening research collaborations. We sincerely congratulate our researcher for representing our center successfully and wish continued success in future endeavors.
